Get motivated by Sara Tye at Small Business Saturday UK: Business Networking Breakfast

Sara Tye, the award-winning entrepreneur, top 500 international PR, business and organisational development expert and triathlete, is giving the motivational talk at Small Business Saturday UK: Business Networking Breakfast.

The event takes place in the Sir Daniel Gooch Theatre at STEAM Museum, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon, SN2 2EY on Saturday 3 December from 8.00 am to 9.30 am. Parking is available at the nearby Swindon Designer Outlet North Car Park. A festive breakfast, including tea, coffee, cakes and pastries will be on offer from local bakers, Huntingdon-Bourne. The entrance fee is £3.00 and tickets are available here.

Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, not-for-profit campaign backed by organisations such as the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Enterprise Nation and Northern Ireland Independent Retail Trade Association. The event provides an opportunity for local business to meet, network and promote their products and services.

This is the fourth year of the campaign. Last year, £623m was spent with small businesses across the UK on Small Business Saturday, a 24 per cent on the previous year. Over 75 per cent of local councils supported the campaign, giving it considerable national reach into local communities.

Tickets to Small Business Saturday also provide admission to a range of festive events taking place at STEAM after the networking breakfast. These include a Christmas market, live music and children’s events.

The campaign has gone from strength to strength in the last four years and makes a huge contribution to the growth of small, local businesses. I’m looking forward to meeting many fellow Swindon business people and helping them make the most of the opportunities this event presents.”

Nicky Pasquier, Swindon business owner, local resident and regional Small Business Saturday champion, said: “With Christmas coming, this event provides the perfect opportunity for Swindon’s entrepreneurs to network and for consumers to support their local businesses with some festive shopping.
