Ryan Trendell Joins Expanding UK and Ireland Team

London, 17 November 2023:Emporia Telecom, a leading brand in user-friendly mobile phones, is proud to announce that Ryan Trendell has been appointed as Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. With a distinguished career spanning +25 years in the technology and mobile industry, he is set to bring a wealth of experience and insight to emporia’s expanding operations in both markets.

Ryan is a well-known figure in the industry with a tenure of over a decade at Doro - where his efforts were instrumental in developing the easy mobile category. More recently, Ryan has served as Senior Channel Manager for Honor UK, where his strategic insights and expertise in the mobile space continued to drive commercial success and growth.

His extensive background also includes positions at Oregon Scientific and within distribution at Data Select, reinforcing his comprehensive understanding of the technology channel. These roles honed his skills in sales, customer relationship management and channel development - establishing him as a well-respected industry player.

Ryan’s arrival coincides with a particularly dynamic period for emporia in the UK and Irish markets. The company is seeing a steady rise in market share - with its channel strategies building momentum. In this new role, Ryan’s mandate is two-fold; primarily to drive mass-market volume product listings and secondly to build strategic retail-driving partnerships. He will specifically be focusing on developing the company’s market opportunities for its range of simplified smartphones and feature phones - all designed with user-friendliness front of mind.

Ryan added: “I have joined the business at an exciting pivotal point where it is set for a period of significant growth and expansion into new market sectors. I’m looking forward to driving growth in key national retailers for accessible mobile technology across all segments of the population.
