Leading Change appointed as Authorised Partner to deliver The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team®

Business transformation consultancy, Leading Change have been designated by Wiley as an Authorised Partner, accredited to deliver The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team® solutions.

Leading Change has established a reputation for thoughtful, well-designed and high impact team development, helping many business teams to achieve a step-change in performance. Oliver Cock, now Managing Director Brand Deployment at Communisis commented "This is one of the most productive development programmes I have been on during my career to date... It successfully helped the team to define, create and work to a common platform of values and behaviours... a step change from years of dysfunctional behaviour".

The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team® resulted from the partnership between Wiley Workplace Learning Solutions and best-selling author Patrick Lencioni. Together they created a team development programme with a simple goal—to improve team effectiveness and productivity through the understanding and application of The Five Behaviours™: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results.

Mark Bouch, Managing Director of Leading Change says: "I was inspired by Patrick Lencioni's original book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. His simple and intuitive model resonated with me at first sight. We recognised its potential and used it to integrate our most successful team development and strategy execution tools".

Wiley's new product was created to harness the power of The Five Behaviours across entire organisations. The programme helps teams understand how they score on the key components of The Five Behaviours model. Individual team members learn about their own personality style, the styles of their team members and how their style contributes to the team's overall success. Two versions of the programme are available: one powered by Everything DiSC® and another powered by All Types™ (comparable to MBTI) - two distinct personality models which help participants better understand how individual personalities contribute to team development.

Wiley's global network of independent partners have exclusive rights to deliver the Five Behaviours™ solution incorporating a portfolio of team and personal development solutions. Mark Bouch says: "Accreditation as a Five Behaviours Authorised Partner enables Leading Change to help clients develop what Pat Lencioni described as the Ultimate Competitive Advantage." The ultimate but most untapped competitive advantage is teamwork. Productive, high-functioning teams:

>        Make better, faster decisions

>        Tap into the skills and opinions of all members

>        Avoid wasting time and energy on politics, confusion and destructive conflict

>        Avoid wasting time on the wrong issues or revisiting topics repeatedly because of a lack of buy-in

>        Create momentum and focus

>        Are more fun to be on!
