GDS I-Healthcare Systems impresses employers with staff healthcare solution

Leading businesses and other organisations attended the launch of GDS I-Healthcare Systems in the UK at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, to see for themselves how the company's solutions can be applied at work to enhance employee health.

Attendees at the recent event, including Business West, New College, JXD Customer Experience and Wincanton Logistics, tried out the products and saw how GDS I-Healthcare Systems's five-step solution could benefit them.

GDS I-Healthcare Systems is a provider of healthcare and wellbeing solutions following five steps: measurement, analysis, wellbeing solutions, engagement and quality of life. People are tested for various health conditions and the results can be easily monitored through their app.

Bonnie Thompson, director at GDS I-Healthcare Systems, said: "Many of the attendees there were very impressed with our solutions. They enjoyed networking with like-minded businesses as well as listening to the speakers.

Speakers at the event included hypnotherapist and author Helen Breward, who works globally as a trainer and speaker, alongside Iain Murzell, an independent financial adviser of nearly 30 years' industry experience.

Sickness currently costs the UK some £77bn a year in lost productivity.

The ultimate goal of the company is to achieve a healthier lifestyle for all staff, thus reducing absence from illness and boosting employee retention rate.

The company's solutions include cloud-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to enhance the workplace and staff wellbeing, in terms of both physical and mental health.

Members of the team at GDS I-Healthcare Systems assess how healthy employees are in the first instance. Equally, internal work culture is assessed at the same time, so that any potential underlying issues between managers and their staff can be ironed out.

GDS I-Healthcare Systems partner, LeadTek, conducted a government funded project withAUO Optronics in Taiwan, co-working with local GPs, hospitals, helpline providers and the Government. Within three months of monitoring and corrective measure with the employees of these organisations, their risk of cardiovascular diseases reduced by 14%. The employees provided positive feedback regarding their self-management of their physical and mental health. The employer's analysis after project implementation showed overall work efficiency significantly increased. Employees reported positive feedback regarding being aware of and in control of their own health.
