Peterborough: Never before seen insights into DIFG snack factory premises

Hi ,

I hope you're well. Delicious Ideas Food Group have just made a fantastic new video that flies you through, around and over it's new packaging, warehousing, and office areas to give you a 360 degree insight into how the business works. It's on point, it's pretty funky, and we really hope you'll like it. We've also written a press release to tell you a bit about the video and why we chose to shoot it this way.

It would be great if you could let us know if this is the sort of thing you're looking for and can use in your publication.

WRAPPER'S DELIGHT

Snackable video gives never before seen insights into DIFG's offices, warehousing and packaging divisions

SEE THE NEW VIDEO HERE

For the first time since its inception 25 years ago, Delicious Ideas Food Group (DIFG) has an all-new video that gives customers and clients a 360 degree view of its snacking and packaging businesses.

Says the company's CEO, Jonathan Potter, ‘We always wanted to tell the company story, which is also our family story. When we moved to bigger and better premises last year, it felt like the perfect time to invest in a shoot. The video is short, fun and punchy, and quickly communicates what we do and how we do it. Above all, it shows how far we've come from a man-and-van operation, a quarter of a decade ago, to a business packing ten million different snacks each year, and distributing millions more.'

Following consultations with Peterborough-based videographer Chris Eldraw, of Eldraw Creative Media, it was decided that a ‘fly through' approach would be the best way to showcase every area and department of the company.

Set to uplifting music, the short film begins with outside shots of DIFG's head office in Orton Southgate, before moving into the building to capture things like snack tasting and new product development in a board meeting, the cheery customer service team, and the frenetic activity of the packaging division and warehouse.

Says Chris, ‘At logical points, we use a time-lapse effect to deliver the full experience of Delicious Ideas' premises as quickly as possible, slowing down to focus on the things that are important, such as the company's BRC AA certification. We also got some fantastic drone shots to emphasise the scale of the offices and warehouse, and to highlight DIFG's convenient location on the A1.'

Adds Jonathan, ‘We're delighted with the end result. It's got the upbeat feel of an on-trend forward-thinking company, which is how we're positioning ourselves, and it also puts the spotlight on the fantastic DIFG team that makes this business work so well.'
