The Great Western Wedding Show, which will take place at STEAM Swindon in January 2019, is back for a third year. Plans are afoot to ensure that this event is the biggest and best yet. 

On the 12 and 13 January 2019, brides and grooms-to-be will have a chance to research, sample and book magical elements of their big day. Organised by The Whitewed Directory, the event will run from 10.00am until 5.00pm on the Saturday, and 11.00am until 4.00pm on the Sunday. 

Over 70 exhibitors will attend The Great Western Wedding Show, making it the largest event of its kind in the South West. Attendees will be treated to bridal catwalk shows, live entertainment, inspiration zones and beauty consultations and workshops. 

Back by popular demand, visitors will be able to visit the ever-popular Shopping Zone, and enjoy The Planning Hub and The Style Hub, both of which will host a schedule of demonstrations and events where guests will learn all things; from which wedding dress suits their body shape and which hair style for their face shape, right through to the top trends in men’s suits, the best flowers for their table decorations and so much more! 

For refreshments, there will be a pop up café, and a Prosecco Bar sponsored by the team at Chiseldon House, the unique venue for your wedding or corporate event. 

In February 2016, the McArthur Glen Outlet hosted the first Great Western Wedding Show to rave reviews. Natalie Lovett, managing director of The Whitewed Directory, says: “We have been growing the show year on year. The event in January attracted nearly 500 couples and we have no doubt that 2019 will bring in a much larger footfall.”

She continues: “We’ve now organised well over 100 wedding shows, so we have the know-how to put on the absolute best events for both exhibitors and visitors.”

The team behind The Great Western Wedding Show will be sharing updates on the day, allowing attendees to see everything that’s on offer.
