Cardiff Youth Service is back withSummer with a ‘DIFF'erence 2025, an exciting, inclusive, and action-packed programme designed to empower young people aged 11-25 across the city.

Running from mid-July to late August, this year's programme builds on the success of previous years with an even broader range of exciting opportunities. From outdoor adventures and creative workshops to digital experiences and hosting youth exchanges, there's something for everyone.

Highlights of the 2025 programme include:

•                     Outdoor Adventures:Thrilling activities like kayaking, rock climbing, and gorge walking at Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre

•                     Film-making Summer Camp:Cardiff Content Creators return with their popular camp for 11-17-year-olds.

•                     Youth Exchanges:Cardiff will host two groups this summer. One from Carlsbad High Schoolin California,offering peer-led film-making experiences and another from Stuttgart, celebratingover five decades as the longest standing youth exchange in Europe.

•                     Youth Clubs City-Wide:Safe, welcoming spaces offering cooking, arts and crafts, gaming, and sports.

•                     One-to-One Support for Year 11 Leavers:Helping young people transition confidently into their next chapter.

•                     Entrepreneurship Workshops:Inspiring sessions with Big Ideas Wales.

•                     Community and Competitive Events:Including a football tournament, "It's a Knockout" challenge in the Vale of Glamorgan, and an Esports event with neighbouring authorities.

•                     Race Across Cardiff:A fun, skills-based challenge promoting independent living.
