Reopening outdoor facilities following Welsh Government coronavirus restrictions changes
In line with the careful, cautious and phased approach to relaxing Welsh Government coronavirus restrictions announced by the First Minister today, Cardiff Council will be introducing the following changes to its outdoor facilitiesfrom tomorrow (Saturday 13 March):
- Council-run outdoor sports courts, outdoor gyms, MUGAs and skate parks will reopen
- The car park at Parc Cefn Onn will reopen to all users
- Cardiff Bay Barrage car park will reopen
- Navigation of Cardiff Bay waters will be permitted
Parks and play areas were already open under the terms of the last Welsh Government restrictions, and that remains the case under the latest changes.
