£500,000 technology boost for Cardiff Council creative industry plans
Following a
successful bid for funding, the Welsh Government is providing £500,000 to
Cardiff Council to improve the infrastructure which transports fibre optic
broadband around the city.

4/09/20 - Schools in Cardiff welcomed many of their
pupils back last week and many more will return this week.
Families are
reminded that under no circumstances should learners attend school if they:
• feel unwell, or have any of the three
identified COVID-19 symptoms (a new continuous cough, a high temperature or
loss of taste or smell) or they have tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 14
days
• live in a household with someone who
has symptoms of COVID-19 or has tested positive to COVID-19 in the past 14
days.
4/09/20 - Changes
to your local Recycling Centres
You can now
book 26 visits per year to your local recycling centres, increased from 12, 2
people can now get out of the vehicle to help move heavier items, and we advise that face coverings are now
worn in our centres.

play areas in Cardiff that have passed safety inspections now re-open
The re-opening
of these three play areas - at the Barrage (Cardiff Bay), Heol Llanishen Fach
(Rhiwbina) and Rhydypenau (Cyncoed) mean that 107 of the city’s 116 play areas
will be available for children to enjoy.
