The initials 'NHS' have appeared in seven metre tall letters on the lawns outside City Hall as part of a tribute by Cardiff Council's parks team to the work being done by the National Health Service.

Manic Street Preachers, Nile Rodgers, The Killers, Paul Weller - the list of music legends that have played gigs to thousands of adoring fans at Cardiff Castle is pretty impressive, but with the Castle currently closed to visitors it's now hosting a series of impromptu lockdown gigs, performed by a Cardiff Council worker during breaks on his night shifts as a security guard.

Cardiff Council is providing thousands of digital devices and broadband dongles via Welsh Governments Education Technology Project Fund to support children in Cardiff that have been unable to access online learning during school closures caused by COVID-19.

15/05/20 - Social distancing measures will be installed on Castle Street on Sunday

The traffic lane next to Cardiff Castle, on Castle Street, will be removed this Sunday, May 17, so that the pavement can be extended into the road for both pedestrians and cyclists to use.
