Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival

Date: Sat 30 Mar – Sun 7 Apr

Time: Various Timed Sessions

Venue: Cardiff City Centre, Various Venues

Website: www.cardiffkidslitfest.com

The Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival is now in its 7th year, running across two weekends, with over 40 ticketed events, FREE craft sessions and an extensive programme of school events all held in iconic venues across the city centre including Cardiff Castle, City Hall, National Museum Wales and Cardiff Story Museum.

Sessions are extremely popular and may sell out in advance.

Four ways to make their day with a trip to the Bay this half-term!

1.    Walk or cycle the circular Bay Trail.  At just over 6 miles/10km long the trail is a great way to make the most of the Bay. The route boasts iconic landmarks, as well as the Cardiff Bay Wetland Reserve, play areas, a skate park, and an Enormous Crocodile – perfect for a sit-down and selfie.

2.    Go interactive!  Download the Tiger Bay Trail App and have fun discovering the history of the area. You’ll find a variety of eateries to make a pitstop along the way, including the RSPB’s Café Hafren on Cardiff Bay Barrage.

3.    Searching for an adrenaline-filled adventure?  You’ll find them at the award-winning Cardiff International White Water (CIWW).  Family Rafting sees the speed and level of the water lowered, so kids as young as six can enjoy the fun and excitement of the white water. You can also have a blast riding jets of water on a bodyboard with Indoor Wave!

4.    Looking for excitement but not wet feet? Take on the challenge of Air Trail. Featuring high ropes, obstacles and zip wires, this activity towers above the white water course.

To find out more about attractions and activities in Cardiff Bay, visit
www.cardiffharbour.com.

For more information on activities at Cardiff International White Water visit www.ciww.com or call 029 2082 9970 to book.
