Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions
SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION

Terms and Conditions

 

1.  The Promoter of this competition is Cardiff Council of County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, CF10 4UW.

2.  The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees and their immediate family of the Promoter, or anyone professionally connected to the competition..  The Promoter may require proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

3.  The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.  Further details of the competition are given on the Promoter’s Facebook page [and/or other social media sites.]

4.  All entries must be submitted via the official Cardiff Council Facebook page [and/or other social media sites] and only one entry per person is permitted.

5.  The opening and closing date for entries is stated in the Facebook post [and/or other social media sites].  Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

6.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

7.  A winner will be chosen by random draw after the advertised closing date.

8.  The winner will receive the prize as set out in the competition post.

9.  The winner will be notified via Social Media (using details provided at entry) within 72 hours of the completion closing (including details of how to claim the Prize).  If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 48 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

11. The prize is supplied by the organisation named in the competition post.  The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

13. The winner's name can be obtained by sending an email to socialmedia@cardiff.gov.uk within 7 days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.

14. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

15.  The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

16.  Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

17. Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.

19. The competition will be governed by English and Welsh law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with facebook [and/or any other social media site].

1.   Hyrwyddwr y gystadleuaeth hon yw Cyngor Caerdydd, Neuadd y Sir, Glanfa'r Iwerydd, Caerdydd CF10 4UW.

2. Mae’r gystadleuaeth yn agored i bob person 18+ oed sy'n byw yn y DU, ac eithrio cyflogeion a theulu uniongyrchol yr Hyrwyddwr, neu unrhyw un sydd wedi’i gysylltu’n broffesiynol â’r gystadleuaeth.    Gallai’r Hyrwyddwr ofyn am dystiolaeth eich bod yn gymwys i gystadlu.

3.  Mae’r gystadleuaeth am ddim ac nid oes yn rhaid prynu dim.  Rhoddir manylion pellach am y gystadleuaeth ar dudalen Facebook yr Hyrwyddwr [a/neu wefannau cyfryngau cymdeithasol eraill.]

4. Rhaid cyflwyno pob ymgais drwy dudalen Facebook swyddogol Cyngor Caerdydd [a/neu wefannau cyfryngau cymdeithasol eraill] a chaniateir dim ond un ymgais y person.

5. Nodir dyddiadau ac amseroedd agor a chau’r gystadleuaeth ar y dudalen Facebook [a/neu wefannau cyfryngau cymdeithasol eraill.]  Ni chaiff cynigion a ddaw i law ar ôl y dyddiad ac amser cau eu hystyried.

6.  Nid yw’r Hyrwyddwr yn gyfrifol am unrhyw gynigion nas cwblhawyd yn llwyddiannus oherwydd gwall technegol, gwall caledwedd neu feddalwedd, gwall lloeren, rhwydwaith neu weinydd o unrhyw fath.

7.  Caiff enillydd ei ddewis ar hap ar ôl y dyddiad cau cyhoeddedig.

8. Bydd yr enillydd yn derbyn y wobr a nodir yn neges y gystadleuaeth.

9. Rhoddir gwybod i’r enillydd ar y Cyfryngau Cymdeithasol (trwy ddefnyddio’r manylion a roddwyd wrth gyflwyno’r ymgais) ymhen 72 awr ar ôl y dyddiad cau (gan gynnwys manylion ar sut i hawlio’r Wobr).  Os nad yw enillydd yn ymateb i’r Hyrwyddwr ymhen 48 diwrnod o gael gwybod gan yr Hyrwyddwr, caiff gwobr yr enillydd ei fforffedu a bydd gan yr Hyrwyddwr hawl i ddewis enillydd arall yn unol â’r broses a ddisgrifir uchod.

10. Ni ellir cyfnewid na throsglwyddo’r wobr na chynnig arian parod yn ei lle.

11. Cyflenwir y wobr gan y sefydliad a enwyd yn neges y gystadleuaeth.    Ceidw’r Hyrwyddwr yr hawl i newid y wobr am wobr arall o werth cyfartal neu uwch os oes amgylchiadau y tu hwnt i reolaeth yr Hyrwyddwr yn golygu bod angen iddo wneud hynny.

12. Mae penderfyniad yr Hyrwyddwr ynghylch unrhyw agwedd ar y Gystadleuaeth yn derfynol ac yn rhwymol ac ni cheir trafodaeth yn ei gylch.

13. Gellir cael enw'r enillydd drwy e-bostio cyfryngaucymdeithasol@caerdydd.gov.uk ymhen 7 diwrnod ar ôl dyddiad cau’r gystadleuaeth.

14. Ystyrir bod cyfranogwyr wedi derbyn a chytuno i gael eu rhwymo gan y telerau ac amodau hyn wrth ymgeisio.Ceidw’r Hyrwyddwr yr hawl i wrthod mynediad, neu wrthod rhoi’r wobr i unrhyw un sy’n torri’r telerau ac amodau hyn.

15. Ceidw’r Hyrwyddwr yr hawl i ddirymu, canslo, gohirio neu ddiwygio’r hyrwyddiad pan fo angen gwneud hynny.

16.  I’r graddau a ganiateir gan y gyfraith, ni fydd yr Hyrwyddwr, ei asiantau na’i ddosbarthwyr mewn unrhyw amgylchiadau’n atebol neu’n gyfrifol am roi iawndal i’r enillydd na derbyn atebolrwydd am unrhyw golled, difrod, anaf personol neu farwolaeth a ddigwydd o dderbyn y wobr oni chaiff ei achosi drwy esgeulustod yr Hyrwyddwr, ei asiantau neu ei ddosbarthwyr neu un o’u cyflogeion.Ni fydd eich hawliau statudol yn cael eu heffeithio.

17.  Efallai y bydd angen i enillwyr gymryd rhan mewn cyhoeddusrwydd sy'n gysylltiedig â'r gystadleuaeth, a gall hyn gynnwys cyhoeddi eu henw a'u ffotograff mewn unrhyw gyfrwng.

18.  Efallai y caiff data personol a roddir yn ystod cyfnod y gystadleuaeth hon eu rhoi i gyflenwyr trydydd parti i’r graddau y mae ei angen i gyflawni/anfon/trefnu’r wobr.  ForI gael rhagor o wybodaeth am sut mae Cyngor Caerdydd yn rheoli gwybodaeth bersonol, gweler ein Polisi Preifatrwydd llawn ar wefan y Cyngor https://www.cardiff.gov.uk/CYM/Hafan/Ymwadiad/Pages/default.aspx

19. Llywodraethir y Gystadleuaeth dan gyfraith Cymru a Lloegr a bydd Cystadleuwyr yn ddarostyngedig i awdurdodaeth llysoedd Cymru a Lloegr.

20. Nid ydy Facebook [A/NEU UNRHYW WEFAN CYFRYNGAU CYMDEITHASOL ARALL] yn noddi, cefnogi, gweinyddu nac yn gysylltiedig â’r hysbyseb hon.
