From student to a canny businesswomen – Jade Ollivierre helps the vulnerable through Native Unearthed
Native Unearthed, the producer of volcanic natural deodorants, puts charity at the forefront of its business. Since its inception in 2014, the company has donated thousands of its products and percentage of profits to good causes.
Native Unearthed works with the charity Hand in Hand for Syria and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Hand in Hand in Syria provides food, clothing, medical aid, water and sanitation to people in Syria whose health service has been shattered. It was the first humanitarian organisation to enter Syria after the conflict began in 2011 and delivers up to 10,000 parcels every week.
To date, Native Unearthed has donated 3,000 deodorants to female refuges through Hand in Hand in Syria.
Buthaynah Ahmed from Hand in Hand for Syria said “Native Unearthed kindly donated 3000 deodorants for us to distribute to internally displaced people living inside Syria late last year. Their generous donation enabled us to help restore some of the dignity of people who have lost access to basic hygiene supplies and are often forced to go without.”
Native
Unearthed also makes regular donations of its deodorants to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), the children's
hospital in Bloomsbury, London.
Jade Ollivierre, co-founder of Native Unearthed, believes every business should have a purpose beyond its
core activity and make a positive mark on society. She said: “I’m a keen
humanitarian so building a brand with an ethical motive behind it was a big
motivation for me. We found a gap in the market after being unable to source a
natural deodorant that worked – and we want everyone to enjoy the solution we
found. As well as supporting Hand in Hand in Syria and Great Ormond Street Hospital,
we also give a percentage of our profits to charitable causes.”
Native Unearthed has inspired the masses and won awards for keeping gym goers fresh. Its deodorants are crystal minerals infused with ingredients beneficial to the skin.
Unlike other deodorants, Native Unearthed doesn’t block pores to prevent sweat. It creates an invisible layer on your skin that helps to prevent odour-causing bacteria. As well as being made from natural ingredients, they’re certified cruelty free.
Native Unearthed’s product range comprises:
- Native Unearthed Crystal Deodorant
- Native Unearthed Crystal Deodorant with Aloe Vera Leaf
- Native Unearthed Crystal Deodorant with Mangosteen

All Native Unearthed deodorantshave a wide set head for comfort and convenience. This premium shape is unique to deodorants available in the UK.
