XLCORK, the
designers of stylish giant bottle-cork furniture, has seen business growth in
excess of 20% over the last 12 months thanks to its expanding international
distribution network.
Stockists and customers from across Europe, the US and Australia have been popping up to buy and sell the wine and
champagne-inspired designs crafted by the company’s founder, Stewart Rose.
“What I love about cork,” said Stewart, “is that you can go a little bit crazy
with it; it’s a lot of fun. I think that’s what our international customers and
stockists feel about the products, too. They’re incredibly tactile, enjoyable
features that turn heads wherever they go.”
Customers such as the Hotel Gutenbergs in Latvia, have made sophisticated use
of XLCork’s dynamic range. The featured Tall
Champagne Cork Bar Stools – also used by Kate Moss in her first
interior design project “The Barnhouse” – are just some of XLCork’s most iconic
products (£195 + P&P).
Made from 100 per cent Portuguese cork, the Champagne
Cork Side Tables (£99-£160 P&P), Giant
Champagne Cork Wire Cage Stool/Side Table (£160 + P&P), VIP
Champagne Cooler (£65 + P&P), Giant
Prosecco and Cava Corks (£150 + P&P), 2017
XL Wine Cork (£120 + P&P) and Bubbling
Bunting (£20 + P&P) now complement both interior and
exterior spaces worldwide, from a total of 46 stockists.
XLCork’s versatility is key to its success. The company’s Curiosity Cork sale
