CHOC Chick’s new Blissful Blends Heart-Warming Cinnamon and Cacao blend has been nominated for the Best Free-From Product Award in the Healthy Living Awards 2016.

A unique combination of organic raw cacao powder with natural spices, Heart-Warming Cinnamon Blend makes blissful hot chocolate, smoothies and shakes that are free from dairy, sugar, gluten, additives and guilt.

The Blissful Blends range also includes Marvellous Mandarin, a blend of CHOC Chick’s popular raw cacao with natural mandarin. Both blends use CHOC Chick’s ethically sourced Ecuadorian organic raw cacao and are blissfully blended in the UK for pure guilt-free indulgence.

On learning of the nomination, Galia Orme, founder of CHOC Chick, said: “We’re thrilled about this. We only launched the Blissful Blends in March this year and they’ve been flying off the shelves in Holland & Barrett ever since. It´s wonderful to be able to develop new flavours and unique products based on my recipes and the finest Nacional Arriba cacao from Ecuador.”

The nomination comes just three months after CHOC Chick was highly commended at the FreeFrom Food Awards in London in April 2016.

The Healthy Living Awards are organised and promoted by Your Healthy Living, The UK's number 1 free in-store natural health magazine. Each year, the magazine asks the public to vote for the health and beauty products they believe stand out from the crowd.  

There are five categories in The Healthy Living Awards: Editor's Choice, Best Slimming and Fitness Product, Best Free-From Product, Best Healthy Treat and Best Eco/Household Product.

CHOC Chick products are stocked in over 600 stores across the UK, US and Europe. These include Holland & Barrett UK, De-Tuinen (Benelux region), Whole Foods Market UK, Whole Foods Market USA (North Atlantic region), John Lewis, OCADO, Waitrose Online, Harvey Nichols, Infinity Foods and Magasin Du Nord in Copenhagen.
