Beadhouse is the retail arm of the family business Burhouse Beads (well-known wholesale distributor of beads, gemstone and jewellery making components) founded by Clinton Burhouse 40 years ago. Louise MacLeod is Clinton's daughter and together they run both businesses.

Louise developed the PipKits whilst undergoing treatment for a blood cancer which required a bone marrow transplant. She got rather tired of Loose Women day in day out so decided to make full use of her bead business's stock and to create a range of products that everyone could enjoy wherever they are!
