FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Vote To Celebrate UK Design
Camellia Interiors, an architectural design practice which specialises in coastal projects, has been shortlisted in the prestigious International Design and Architecture Awards 2015.
The Cornish practice, which is based in Newquay, has been singled out in several categories by leading interior design magazine ‘design et al'.
The global awardscelebrate the best in interior design and architecture, recognise new talent and promote ground-breaking projects around the world.
Voting opened on 25th August, with the winners chosen by the public.
Design Director Elaine Skinner was thrilled to see her company shortlisted for six international awards, saying: "This recognition is a fantastic reward for the hard-working team here at Camellia, who are passionate about delivering great design projects for our clients."
Elaine added: "I would like to ask people to take a look at the projects and to vote for us, so that we can spread the word that the UK is home to enormous talent and creativity when it comes to design."
Camellia offers a full design and project management service for their clients - many of whom live outside the UK - creating luxurious, rare and special spaces and helping property owners achieve the maximum return on their investment.
Camellia reconfigure floor plans to make the most of sea views, create breath-taking living spaces and source interior décor for timeless coastal living.
One major project recently completed is a waterfront home in Looe, South Cornwall; the property has been shortlisted for four of the International Design & Architecture Awards - ‘Bedroom', ‘Kitchen over £25,000', ‘Residential Development, £1 - £2.5 million' and finally for its architectural excellence in the ‘Beach House' category.
Another property occupying a stunning position on the Cornish coast in Mawgan Porth has been shortlisted in the ‘Home Cinema' and ‘Living Space UK' categories.
Camellia transformed a confined layout and half-built extension into a series of light and airy spaces infused with effortless style.
The International Design and Architecture Awards ceremony will be held at The Hurlingham Club in London on Friday 25th September.
