Popular historic Harborne venue holds free event for the whole family this Bank Holiday Sunday
The King's Head, Harborne, is holding their third ‘Elements - Friends on the Terrace' day at their popular historic establishment. The venue has been a social hub in the local area for over 100 years, and they hope to celebrate this month's long weekend with the help of the family and friends from Harborne and greet some new faces too.
The event, taking place on Sunday 30th of August from 3:00pm-11:00pm is free for all of the family to attend. Children are welcome from 3:00pm-9:00pm, with balloons and face painting until 5:00pm and with The King's Head ‘Kids Klub' Colouring Competition, there's bound to be plenty of fun for the little ones.
Richard Perry, General Manager at The King's Head, said "We love it when our customers come back to us with their whole family - It's a real compliment and makes us feel very proud of what we do. As it's the school holidays and a Bank holiday, it made perfect sense to make our ‘Elements - Friends on the Terrace' a day for everyone to get involved with. We're looking forward to seeing lots of our regular customers, and hopefully some new ones too!"
When the kids have all gone at 9:00pm, the adults can let their hair down and enjoy a sophisticated evening out on the terrace. With guest DJ's Phil Gifford (Wobble), Morais Vibes and Wayne Chambers playing an eclectic mix of house classics, soul, funk, disco, salsoul, hip-hop, new wave and more. With the addition of the new outdoor smokehouse grill, The King's Head are covering all their bases with their third ‘Elements' night of the year... What a way to end August!
