NEW VANS HELP STEP UP SERVICE

A new fleet of vans is helping the UK's number one supplier of heavy-duty vehicle-lifting solutions to boost its aftersales care.

Halesowen-based TOTALKARE has taken delivery of 14 new Citroen vans, which have been kitted out in the company's new livery.

Tristan Johnston, the firm's Sales and Marketing Manager, explained: "Our recent change of name from SOMERSTOTALKARE provided the ideal opportunity to review our fleet of support vehicles, which would have needed a makeover to reflect the new branding.

"We changed the name of the company to better reflect the range of services we now offer, and having an up-to-date fleet of vehicles for our engineers to cover the length and breadth of the country is essential to our future plans."

The new vans are already out and about, helping TOTALKARE engineers to deliver routine maintenance, Reports of Thorough Examination and emergency repairs to clients across the country. The larger size of the van also helps the engineers to carry more stock.

In turn this helps then to reduce the number of return visits needed to fix a lift problem, helping to maintain service level agreements.

"As we expand our service and maintenance options to meet a growing demand from customers old and new, the new vans will help our highly skilled engineers to provide an even better service whilst raising awareness of the new TOTALKARE brand," Tristan added.
