Thorite Powers Spray Painting at Karl Vella Vehicle Damage Repair Specialists

The Karl Vella group's latest Accident Repair Centre, at Deeside Industrial Park near Chester, houses advanced spray painting technology in the form of two spray booths - a normal static facility plus a state-of-the-art moving booth. Both the spray booths, plus all the compressed air- powered hand tools used by the Accident Repair Centre's skilled workforce, rely on the performance of a new HPC compressor, recently installed by Thorite.

Thorite is the UK's biggest independent distributor of pneumatic products and process systems and was approached by Karl Vella to quote on the compressor installation, plus a new aluminium pipework ring main.

Mike Sarsfield, Karl Vella's Operations Director, took up the story and said:"This is the first time we've been involved with Thorite, but we'd heard good things about them within the industry and certainly weren't disappointed in our choice. They proposed an HPC SK25T compressor package as being the ideal solution. Their engineers took a lot of care installing the ring main out of sight behind wall panels and within the suspended ceiling void and we've had no problems whatsoever. We're now benefitting from two fully operational spray booths, with the improved process times from the moving booth proving to be particularly popular with our customers".
