Summer Open Day

Saturday 8th August, 10am to 4pm

On Saturday 8th August Jo Downs Handmade Glass will hold another of their Summer Open Day events at their Launceston Studio and Gallery.

The day includes fun family workshops which invite parents and children to make their very own fused-glass artwork with the help of Jo Downs’ skilled and friendly team. Visitors will also be able to take advantage of one-day-only discounts on selected pieces, see the studio workshop and browse Jo’s latest creations at the onsite gallery.

There is no need to book, just come along between 10am and 4pm. All ages and abilities are welcome. There will also be a BBQ and raffle in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care Cornwall.

Workshops are free to attend but there will be a small charge for materials used. Jo Downs Handmade Glass is situated a few hundred yards off the A30 at the Pennygillam junction, Launceston. Jo Downs Handmade Glass

One of the world's most prominent fused glass artists, British designer Jo Downs’ handcrafted work is inspired by the coastal setting of her Cornwall galleries. Jo’s range of beautiful giftware includes coasters, bowls, hangings, candle holders and seasonal gifts, alongside her much sought after statement interior pieces such as wall panels and art frames.

Jo has also developed her studio to undertake larger architectural and interior projects.
