GROUSE SEEKS PUBLIC VOTES FOR DISTILLERY VISITOR EXPERIENCE OF THE YEAR

Members of the public are being asked to back Perthshire's most visited whisky distillery, The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, in its bid to become this year's Scottish Field's Whisky Distillery Visitor Experience of the Year.

One of seventeen distilleries in Scotland to be listed for the title, the winners are decided solely by a public vote and Scotland's oldest and most visited distillery is hoping that its tens of thousands of visitors every year will give it the big thumbs up.

The visiting public are asked to vote on site by adding their name to the list at the Distillery or, for those who are a little further away, they can vote online athttp://www.scottishfield.co.uk/votenow/

Stuart Cassells, General Manager of The Famous Grouse Experience commented:

"In 2014 we were shortlisted as one of Scotland's Top Ten Whisky Distillery Visitor Experiences and the team here at the Distillery were delighted. We'd love to be part of this again - perhaps this might be our year to win - but we know that this can only happen with the help of our visitors and we hope that they will take the time to vote for us."

The public vote closes on 21stSeptember with a shortlist being announced in October.
