PORTASILO'S EXPERTISE AND TURNKEY SOLUTIONS STAND OUT AT EUROPEAN COATINGS SHOW
Yorkshire-based solids handling and processing specialist Portasilo showcased its projects and experience at the world's largest industry show for the coatings industry which reported a record numbers of visitors after it was held at the end of April.
The European Coatings Show in Germany attracted 1,024 exhibitors from 42 countries, including Portasilo who valued this year's show as a great opportunity to connect with some of the 28,500 international visitors. See here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkjYRgrQ5-4 for a review of the show.
With an unrivalled track record working with some of the world's largest paint manufacturers, Portasilo travelled to Germany to demonstrate its approach to materials handling and processing in this buoyant marketplace. Its export sales have led to the establishment of two satellite offices in India, in Pune and Chennai, to manage a growing number projects in the region.
Portasilo's eye-catching stand included examples of its versatile silo discharge equipment such as the Rotoflo mechanical discharger, one of the most accurate silo-emptying systems on the market, while turnkey solutions, including one for the world's largest paint manufacturing plant, generated a steady stream of interest from European manufacturers with paint handling questions.
Portasilo's managing director Neil Gardiner said: "Growing worldwide demand for more sustainable products and manufacturing processes means that even more importance should be placed on learning about the flow properties of evolving materials to ensure robust and cost-efficient handling and processing solutions. This was evident in the questions our team received from visitors to the stand, who were clearly impressed by our track record and level of expertise.
"Our stand attracted a good level of interest from organisations in search of advice about paint handling, amongst other things, and many who were particularly interested in turnkey solutions rather than component elements of the materials handling and processing supply chain."
