Press Release FEBRUARY 2014
Spring Fair Success for Lighting and Homeware Wholesaler CIMC.
CIMC Home, one of the UK's leading online wholesale supplier of lighting, furniture and home accessories report a successful Spring Fair with customer attendance up 25% on previous years and the new SS15 furniture and lighting ranges proving popular with retailers.
Fresh back from the Spring Fair, Sales Director Mehmood Pirbhai says "We've had an excellent Spring Fair this year with attendance levels up 25% our highest on record. The big trade shows play a vital role for the CIMC business, giving our customers access to our entire product range and the opportunity to put together pre-orders for the year ahead. We were delighted to showcase seven new product ranges which were very well received with great take-up from our existing and new trade customers."
Established in 1988, the CIMC business has rapidly evolved over the last two decades into a popular destination for a wide range of business types including interior designers buying on behalf of their clients, hoteliers and building contractors to home and giftware retailers and furnishing and lighting stores.
Innovation plays a key role in the homewares industry and CIMC regularly introduces fresh new designs and original product categories to their 2,000 strong range available to view online or in their Leicester and Scotland based showrooms.
2015 is no exception, with CIMC having launched at Spring Fair their new furniture and lighting spring summer ranges. Including Cheetah inspired decorative accessories, shabby chic Hampton beach furniture and a stunning mirrored Gatsby collection, all of which will be available for trade customers to view online from the 1stMarch 2015.
There is no doubt the housing market and the UK's general economic recovery is fueling further demand for home-ware furniture, accessories, and lighting products. Other factors driving growth is influence from popular historical dramas like Downton Abbey and movies like the Great Gatsby which is creating demand for classic styled pieces and accessories from that era.
Pirbhai continues, "We are seeing décor, room dressing and furniture textile categories performing strongly, including candles and cushions. Lighting continues to be a perennial favourite. We are seeing more and more demand for on trend, high quality, good-looking products that are truly affordable and we are determined to continue creating products that deliver on that promise. With the re-launch of our ecommerce website and the innovation we have planned to rollout during 2015, there's no reason why this year won't be CIMC's strongest year on record."
