NFS Technology Group’s ‘Rendezvous’ software solution to increase meeting room management efficiency

NFS Technology Group – responsible for providing highly effective and efficient scheduling solutions within their Rendezvous browser based software, are well underway to provide NHS Training Boards with their specialist software, designed to replace the outdated paper-based booking system that the National Health Service currently has in place.

The London Training Boards carry out the responsibilities of the NHS London Deanery efficiently and with a keen precision, supported in their efforts by a number of Shared Services within a new purpose-built Events Centre, built in 2013 and located within the University of London’s campus grounds. Established now as an exceptional venue that can be utilised for a massive array of training, education, health and similar related requirements relating to the sector that is public healthcare.

Previously, the London NHS Deanery was, as any other NHS Deanery, responsible for all aspects of postgraduate medical and dental training. A regional organisation that was, together with many others, structured into the UK National Health Service, the Deanery within London oversaw the workforce management and medical education of thousands of doctors, surgeons, nurses, dentists and dental nurses, assessing competency and taking care of handpicking doctors to fill specific careers and jobs within hospitals.

Changes made that saw NHS Deanery’s relinquish their roles and place responsibilities amongst Local Training and Educational Boards was simply the next progressive move for the National Health System, allowing greater control of resources, time management, educational support and funding.

A spokesperson for NFS Technology Group stated:

“With the addition of the NHS decision to incorporate our Rendezvous software to streamline meeting rooms and day to day activities, this means that staff at the Events Centre have been granted the opportunity to not only check availability of meeting rooms. Not only this but they can plan ahead, make decisions on the suitability of those rooms available, regardless of the type of meeting they may wish to be booked for and send out any notifications to those individuals who would be required to attend. “

As the Rendezvous software allows the user to efficiently understand the summary of any such meeting, it allows the user to save time, space and costs too. More information on NFS and their Rendezvous solutions can be found at their website: www.nfs-hospitality.com today.
