York garden centre welcomes Leeds garden buildings business

A Leeds business specialising in Yorkshire-made garden buildings has opened a display area at Dean's Garden Centre in York.

In the first of a series of collaborations between Yorkshire Garden Centres' sites and Tiger, the specialist garden buildings retailer at Woodlands Home and Garden Group, Dean's York Garden Centre will display a selection of Tiger garden buildings, including high-quality sheds, summerhouses, log cabins and modular garden rooms.

Stuart Davison, commercial director at Woodlands, is excited by the new launch:"It's our first Yorkshire site since the original Tiger outlet in North Leeds was established in 2015.

"The new site will provide customers in the region with an exceptional outdoor show site where they can find and create their perfect space for their home.

"The display includes a stylish selection of 25 of the most popular Tiger models, including workshops, sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. It includes the Obsidian 70mm insulated log cabin, which is from the new and unique Black Tiger range of hybrid log cabins."

Dean's York Garden Centre manager Mike Waugh is pleased with the new concession: "The addition of a Tiger show site at York is a great opportunity for the garden centre and aligns with our plans for growth by expanding our product offerings. We wanted to partner with a leading garden buildings brand with an extensive range of quality models, Tiger was the natural choice for us.

"Like us, Tiger is committed to providing a fantastic customer experience and is constantly looking to make that experience even better. This is very exciting news for garden enthusiasts in York and North Yorkshire."

All Tiger buildings are handmade in Yorkshire workshops, using sustainably sourced, high-grade timber from FSC®-certified managed forests, and come with a twenty-year guarantee as well as the option of professional installation.

The new show site is open daily from 10.00 am until 3 pm.

Dean's York Garden Centre is part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres (YGC) group that comprises Tong, Tingley and Bingley Garden Centres, Dean's Scarborough and the recently acquired Pennine Garden Centre in Shelley, Huddersfield.
