Crystal clear performance: FEM launches Everpure ice machine filtration systems

Pentair Everpure systems offer operators a choice of filtration methods for purer ice and increased equipment protection

Ice machine filtration systems are designed to provide better looking, better tasting and longer lasting ice, while protecting the machine itself.  FEM launches Everpure Ice Machine Filtration Systems—a solution for maintaining ice quality and protecting commercial equipment.

Manufactured by Pentair Everpure, a market leader in water treatment solutions and designed specifically for use with ice machines, Everpure filtration systems help operators eliminate impurities that affect taste, odour, and ice clarity, while also preventing scale and mineral build-up that can damage internal components. FEM is offering a choice of two different ice machine water filtration systems, the Pre-Coat Media and the Fibredyne, each available in a range of sizes, so buyers can get the system that precisely matches their needs.

The Pre-Coat Media ice filtration systems are available in two sizes, the largest being designed for use with ice cubers making up to 255kg and ice flakers up to 435kg.  Delivering premium quality water for ice machines, the system’s Micro-Pure media with Agion antibacterial protection inhibits bacterial growth, while the pre-coat technology traps particles as small as ½ micron. The system protects the machine parts, such as the pipes, pump and evaporator plate, by reducing problems caused by scale build up and clogging.

On the other hand the Fibredyne system is highly effective at inhibiting the growth of bacteria.  It reduces contaminants such as chlorine, which can adversely affect the taste and odour of beverages, while the submicron filtration again inhibits particles as small as ½ micron.  There are two Fibredyne system models available, the largest is suitable for high volume machines – ice cubers with capacities up to 425kg and ice flakers up to 725kg.

Replacement cartridges are also available for both ice machine filtration systems.  The Pre-Coat Media cartridge lasts up to six months, while the Fibredyne cartridge can last up to a year.

With Everpure by Pentair now available through FEM, operators can access industry-leading water filtration technology backed by proven performance and reliability. FEM also supplies a comprehensive range of Manitowoc ice making solutions with undercounter, integral and modular units available depending on need.

The ice machine water filtration systems are available with list prices starting at £89.90 for the I500² Pre-Coat Media Ice Filtration Complete System, and £102.00 for the 2FC-S Fibredyne Ice Filtration Complete System.
