YALC RETURNS WITH EPIC AUTHOR HEADLINERS FOR ITS 11TH YEAR CELEBRATING YA LITERATURE AND LEGENDS OF THE GENRE

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, 17^thJune 2025:The Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC), the UK's biggest celebration of YA books and readers, returns for its 11th spectacular edition this November at London's Olympia as part of London Comic Con Winter (https://londoncomicconwinter.com/YALC/programming/). With over 70 incredible authors on the line-up and a weekend packed full of panels, signings, and literary celebrations, YALC 2025 is set to be the most exciting yet.

Event Director for Showmasters Events shared her enthusiasm: "I am so proud to be part of the working group bringing the 11th edition of YALC to the YA fans. Once again, we were inundated with authors and contributors who wanted to be involved in this year's event, and we hope you like the panels and activities that we have pulled together."

Among the highlights being announced today:

• Alice OsemanandJuno Dawson take centre stage to celebrate 10 years of the Osemanverse, marking a decade of beloved characters and trailblazing storytelling that has helped shape the current YA landscape.
• A powerful tribute panel to the late, great Alex Wheatle,hosted byThe Diverse Book Awards, will honour the life, legacy, and posthumous publications of the award-winning author of the Crongton series. Fellow writers will reflect on how his words continue to inspire generations of readers and storytellers.
• YALC's official ambassadors—Holly Bourne, Juno Dawson,andKatherine Webber—return to champion inclusive, empowering, and unforgettable YA fiction.
• Plus, appearances from an incredible list of authors, including: Abiola Bello, Adalyn Grace, Adrienne Young, Alwyn Hamilton, Andy Darcy Theo, Busayo Mataluko, Cynthia Murphy, Dean Atta, Laura Steven, Patrice Lawrence, and dozens more.

Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC) is a convention style event with guest authors, stage panels, workshops and retail exhibitors celebrating all things YA books. The first YALC took place at LFCC in 2014 as Malorie Blackman's major project as Waterstones Children's Laureate 2013-2015.
