Latest Manitowoc Ice modular M
series now available from FEM
FEM is introducing Manitowoc’s latest energy-saving M series modular ice machines, which are designed for worry-free dice and half dice ice production. The M Series provides essential modular ice makers at competitive prices but with the reliability and engineering experience expected from Manitowoc Ice.
It couldn’t be easier to produce ice with these machines - there are only three controls: off, on and clean. They are easy to clean and maintain, as well. Access to the evaporator and food zone is simple, there are just two screws to remove and a hinged door to open. White plastics in the food zone help identify areas needing cleaning.
The parts that need cleaning can be removed without tools. The water shield, distribution tube, pump floats and even the trough can be removed by hand. Reusable, easy to clean air filters protect the condenser from lint, grease and dust.
The M series ice machines are air cooled as standard and use R410A CFC-free refrigerant. Altogether there are eight models in the range, four producing half dice ice, with production rates from 166 to 446kg per 24 hours, and four models producing diced ice with production rates from 176 to 437kg. All are designed to save as much space as possible, for example the smallest half dice ice machine, the MYT0420A with a production rate of 166kg measures just 559mm wide by 622mm deep and 546mm high.
There is a three year parts and labour warranty on the icemaker, five years parts and labour on the evaporator and five year parts and three year labour on the compressor. The compatible D series of modular ice bins are available for each model, ice bins are sold separately.
List prices start at £4,600.00 for the Manitowoc Ice M Series Modular 166kg half dice ice machine.
