CTEK’s CC3 Electric Vehicle chargepoint is awards finalist
Electric Vehicle charging specialist CTEK’s CC3 EV chargepoint is a finalist in UK’s E-Mobility Awards 2025. The achievement comes just two years after CTEK won the Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year at the 2023 E-Mobility Awards.

This year the CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 3 product is a finalist in the Best Charging Equipment or Service Innovation category. The winners will be announced on 8 July during a ceremony being held at the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire.

Daniel Forsberg, CTEK’s Marketing Manager EVSE, said: "We are beyond excited to again be a finalist at the E-Mobility Awards. It shows that the award judges are impressed by our focus on creating technically excellent products that are user friendly for installers and EV drivers alike.

“CC3 is our third major milestone in more than a decade of designing and manufacturing EV charging equipment that always seeks to be both innovative and reliable. In CC3 we have built an EV chargepoint that not only performs today but is futureproofed for the exciting next era of EVs.

“CC3 is ideal for providing multiple chargepoints in car parks at destinations, workplaces and apartment blocks. Its dual outlets and easy scalability provide car park owners and charging providers with the means to install and expand EV charging as the market continues to grow.”

CC3 supports up to 22kW dual output power delivery and zero-touch Autocharge charging, plus is primed for bidirectional Vehicle to Grid (V2G) supply and the coming ‘Plug & Charge’ experience.

It offers robust connectivity via Wi-Fi, dual ethernet ports, and an optional 4G modem, with OCPP 2.0.1 compliance for smooth integration. CC3 features CTEK’s NANOGRID dynamic load balancing, replaceable components, and a five-year warranty, prioritising sustainability and reducing waste.

Its design, with input from installers, ensures easy installation and long-term reliability. CC3 can be wall or pole mounted, with two dual output CC3 chargepoints back to back on one 60mm pole providing charging for four EVs.

CTEK’s place in the finals of the 2025 E-Mobility Awards follows success at last November’s Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards (EVIEs), where it won Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year for commercial, industrial and public charging. CC3 was a finalist for the Best New Product.

The Sweden-based manufacturer continues to invest in the UK as a growth market for its charge points, backed by a UK based team for sales, support, technical assistance and training.

The 2024 arrival of CTEK’s CC3 built on CTEK’s decade-plus experience in designing and manufacturing award-winning Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). CTEK has already sold more than 150,000 EV charging devices in the UK, its home market Sweden and elsewhere in Europe.
