Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson Dance to historic Bronze MEDAL at the 2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Boston

 

(Sheffield, UK - 30/03/25)  In a momentous achievement for British Ice Skating, Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson secured a bronze medal in the Ice Dance competition at the 2025 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Boston, USA, this weekend, marking Britain's first medal win at the prestigious event in 41 years, since the last podium place in 1984.

 

The brilliant and captivating ice dance duo are quickly becoming the pride of British ice skating - their performance in Boston saw Lilah & Lewis deliver a flawless and emotionally-charged performanceearning them an impressive total score of 207.11 points, with their free dance routine performed to a trio of Beyonce hits sparking rapturous cheers from the crowd. This mesmerising display helped cement a well-earned medal victory, ending their long wait, with the pair previously finishing fourth at the last two ISU World Figure Skating Championships.

 

This result was not only the biggest success of their career to date but has secured their place among the world's elite ice dance teams, positioning the duo strongly for the highly anticipated ISU European Figure Skating Championships, taking place in the UK city of Sheffield in 2026.
