West Yorkshire adventure play areas shortlisted in regional award
The play team at two West Yorkshire family attractions is celebrating after reaching the final of the Yorkshire Tots to Teens Awards 2025.
Grass Hoppers indoor and outdoor adventure play at Tong and Tingley Garden Centres have been shortlisted in the Best Spot for Little Explorers categoryof the annualawards that champion family-friendly businesses throughout Yorkshire.
Yorkshire Garden Centre's group play manager,Caroline Ellis is delighted with the shortlist news: "Grass Hoppers is a family-friendly play and dining experience. We're thrilled to have received so many votes and are looking forward to the final count up at the end of the month. Thank you to everyone who voted for us in the first round."

The Yorkshire Tots to Teens Awards, sponsored by Discover Ilkley and Yorkshire Tutors, celebrate the businesses that make family life in Yorkshire special. The competition attracted 700 nominations in the first round of voting.
Grass Hoppers are located at Tong and Tingley Garden Centres in Bradford and South Leeds respectively. They are safe, secure and fun places for under 10's to enjoy a ‘proper playtime'.
Tong and Tingley Garden Centres are part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres family that also includes Otley, Bingley, York, Scarborough and Pennine Garden Centres.
