Graf appoints a commercial wastewater manager for Ireland and the UK
Wastewater specialist Philip Johnston joins Graf.
A wastewater specialist with 20 years of experience in the design, sales, installation and servicing of domestic, commercial and municipal systems has been appointed by water management gurus Graf as commercial wastewater manager for Ireland and the UK.
Philip Johnston, who has also been chairman of the Irish Water Treatment Association since 2022, joins Graf from running his own wastewater solutions business, including an online store, for 20 years.
A partner of Graf since 2017, Philip also has more than 36 years of leadership experience across industries as diverse as motorsports merchandise and service station/supermarket development.
With Graf Ireland and UK, he will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the division including sales, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. He will also lead cross-functional teams to improve business processes and customer satisfaction, and establish new strategic partnerships with engineers, builders and installers.
A motorsport and rugby enthusiast, he said: "I'm very pleased to be part of a global company like Graf that sells in 80 countries around the world and am looking forward to the new challenge this position brings while bringing my experience to drive further growth.
