Cook extra big items extra fast with this powerful countertop rapid cook oven

New from Hubbard Systems, the Pratica Fit XL is the ideal solution for businesses who want to prepare hot food fast without wasting space.

While compact ovens help to maximise the use of available kitchen space they can sometimes limit the size of food to be prepared. Despite a footprint of just 680 mm depth, 426 mm width and 982 mm height, the Fit XL has a cooking chamber that can hold pizzas up to 40cm wide. Its compact size, speed and precision make it ideal for fast, continuous preparation of food.

Cooking temperature can be set anywhere from 30°C to 280°C, letting it cook fresh, refrigerated or frozen foods such as sandwiches, chicken wings or lasagne. It uses a combination of microwaves and impinged air, which means it cooks quickly while also browning or toasting food as required.

It takes just 45 seconds to cook a breakfast sandwich, or three and a half minutes for bone in chicken wings – up to twenty times faster than conventional methods.

It also features a powerful catalytic converter that removes odours and particulates. This means it doesn’t need extra ventilation, creating a more pleasant working environment for staff as well as reducing overall energy consumption.

The Fit XL is designed to give easy access to the catalytic converter letting operators clean and replace the filter themselves, without requiring a service engineer.

Attractively designed with a modern, matt black finish, the Fit XL is ideal for front of house use. Front and rear mounted air vents give it zero side clearance, providing huge flexibility for installation in areas with limited space.

The oven is controlled via an icon-based touchscreen menu which can store over 1000 custom recipes. Updates can be applied either via USB or over wifi, through Pratica’s Internet of Kitchen online platform. This also makes it easy to manage many units at once, so it is ideal for multi-site businesses. The touchscreen also features a daily cleaning guide with videos showing staff how to clean the unit, step by step.

A range of useful accessories are included with the Fit XL, including an aluminium paddle, a Teflon tray and baking rack, and specially designed chemicals for cleaning, including protector spray and non-caustic oven cleaner.
