 FEM appoints two new staff

Kayleigh-Anne Rheeder and Robbie Makan aim to deliver great customer service

Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) has welcomed two new members of staff who are taking on important roles within the company.  Kayleigh-Anne Rheeder has joined the company as an Internal Sales Executive while Robbie Makan will be taking on the position of Service Technician.

Both roles are vital to providing the exceptional levels of service FEM’s customers have come to expect from the company.

Kayleigh will be part of the team that helps to manage and answer customer enquiries, providing clear information about FEM’s range of products and helping to identify the best equipment to meet their needs.  She’ll liaise with different departments within FEM to ensure a smooth sales process as well as handling complaints.

Before joining FEM, Kayleigh was an executive account manager for over two years at Aalco Glasgow, where she developed a reputation as a skilled salesperson. She also participated in the Mitchell Phoenix leadership and management training program. Originally from South Africa, Kayleigh is a keen sportswoman, who represented South Africa in Ringball and now plays netball as well as coaching a local U13 team. She also enjoys exploring the Scottish countryside with her partner.

Meanwhile, Robbie Makan is joining FEM from his previous job as catering engineer at another Glasgow firm, WD Catering Solutions, which is one of FEM’s service partners. As a service technician, he will be installing new equipment, as well as maintaining and repairing existing equipment and providing technical support for subcontractors and end users. Outside of work, Robbie is a father of a two-year-old daughter and is into fitness, training and watching football.

Both Kayleigh and Robbie are anticipating the opportunities to develop their skills working at FEM will provide. “FEM has a strong reputation for innovation and growth, and I’m looking forward to being part of a team that contributes to impactful work,” says Kayleigh.

Robbie’s prior experience of working with FEM at WD Catering Solutions has him excited at the new challenges he’ll be faced with. “I’ve always had a good rapport with the team at FEM and it’ll be good to add to my skills and knowledge at the company while developing my career,” he says.

“We’re really pleased to welcome two extremely capable people to the company,” says Mark Hogan, Commercial Director at FEM. “Kayleigh and Robbie have both demonstrated a passion and talent for delivering exemplary customer service and they will both be great assets to FEM.”
