The parties are at Tong Garden Centre at 4.30 pm on 12thDecember and at the same time at Tingley on 19thDecember. Tickets cost £16.95 and include an hour and three quarters' play time, a meet and greet with The Mean Green One and his elves, access to the disco room, food and a toy of the child's choice.

"Further to the success of last year's Christmas parties when we raised £2,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, we're very excited to repeat these unique party sessions as part of our family festive programme this year. Not only do children get to experience great play with a unique meet and greet with Hooper's grumpy friend, ‘The Mean Green One', but they're also helping us to reach our fundraising target of £20,000 for this year. Children canexpect party dancing, cheeky surprises, and a whole lot of festive mischief to keep everyone grinning," said Caroline Ellis, Yorkshire Garden Centres' Group Play Manager.

"Thanks to generous donations from our suppliers, 100% of the proceeds of the ‘Not So Merry Christmas' parties will go to Yorkshire Children's Charity."
