Ensuring outdoor kitchens are UK weatherproof!

With so many "outdoor kitchens" on the market right now, it's important to partner with a manufacturer which uses the very best in durable, high-quality materials; after all, it has to live outside in the UK elements!

Outdoor kitchens can be exposed to 60 degrees variation in temperature, 40% variation in humidity, exposure to ultraviolet light and airborne sand and grit.

• Low maintenance: Due to the composition of ultra-compacted sintered stone, it does not require regular treat­ment, such as polishing or seal­ing to maintain. The sintered stone cabinetry of a KönigOutdoor kitchen will still look as good ten years on from when it was first installed.

• Waterproof: Sintered stone is waterproof so will not absorb moisture. There is no danger of the external cladding, doors or drawer fronts of a KönigOutdoor kitchen swelling, warping or rotting.

• Scratch-resistant: The material has an extremely high scratch-resistance, so the cabinetry won't be affected by wind-blown grit. It also allows the owner to cut directly on the surface with metal knives so there is no need for chopping boards.

• High stain resistance: The near zero porosity value means that the surface doesn't absorb stains or bacteria.

• UV resistant: Sintered stone is highly resistant to ultraviolet light and will not fade or degrade over time.

• Extreme heat resistance: The heat resistance of the surface allows the owner to place hot pans directly on the surface without fear of thermal shock.

• Variety of finishes: Due to the variety of sintered stone finishes available, KönigOutdoor can create designs to suit a variety of styles and properties, including sweeping veined marble, industrial concrete and wood-inspired effects.

• Thin and lightweight: The lightweight material allows us to make solid stone doors and drawer fronts.
