Yorkshire Whisky Distillery improves website accessibility in an industry first

 

A Yorkshire whisky distillery has become the first UK distillery to use AI technology to make its website accessible to all.

 

In a move to promote digital inclusion, Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, based in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire, has announced its strategic partnership with accessiBe, the market leader in web accessibility.

 

"We're proud that with accessiBe's accessWidget, we are empowering all people to access our website easily, whilst breaking new ground for digital inclusion in the whisky industry," said Jenni Ashwood, Spirit of Yorkshire's Marketing Director.

The widget uses AI to optimise accessibility levels constantly."
