Following on from two sell-out shows in London next month (which sold out in less than 90 minutes) and five sell-out nights at The Royal Albert Hall next summer (the longest continuous headline run by a pianist in the history of the venue), the most-streamed classical artist of all time,Ludovico Einaudi, has announced a special summer show at Manchester's Co-op Live on Sunday 6 July followed by a date at the stunning Edinburgh Castle on Thursday 10 July.

Commenting on the shows, Ludovico said: "I am thrilled to be returning to the UK next summer and visiting Manchester and Edinburgh again. I have been in those cities many times and they are close to my heart - connecting with the audience is when my work comes alive and I can't wait to celebrate my music with friends in July."

The ground-breaking composer and pianist recently announced that his next album The Summer Portraits will be officially released on 31 January 2025, with the lead single ‘Rose Bay' out now. Described as a song cycle, The Summer Portraits will have 13 tracks, including ‘Maria Callas', a track inspired by the opera singer, with other tracks ‘Pathos', ‘To Be Sun', and ‘Sequence' featuring Théotime Langlois de Swarte, the French violinist.

 

Einaudi has quietly become one of the most successful musicians in the world and his hauntingly beautiful and evocative music tops the classical charts worldwide, He has performed to huge crowds at the world's most prestigious venues, and now Ludovico Einaudi is back in the UK to bring his world-class live shows to audiences in Northern England and Scotland next summer!

Ludovico Einaudi is an eminent Italian pianist and music composer. At the start of his career, Einaudi only composed classical music, but later moved on to other genres like pop, rock, world music and folk music. He was trained at the Conservatorio Verdi, which is a college of music in Milan. Einaudi has composed many scores for films as well as trailers; some of the prominent ones are: ‘This Is England', ‘The Untouchables' and ‘I'm Still Here'. He has won the Grolla d'oro, one of the most ancient film awards in Italy, for best soundtrack in year 1996 for ‘Acquario'. Along with this, he has given music to TV series like ‘Doctor Zhivago'. He has also come up with a number of notable solo albums of piano and orchestra, such as ‘I Giorni' in 2001, ‘Nightbook' in 2009, and ‘In a Time Lapse' in 2013. He released his studio album ‘Elements' in October 2015, ‘Underwater' in 2022. His track ‘Experience' has 15.6 billion TikTok views and 6.8 million TikTok creations to date, making him the most streamed classical artist of all time.
