In the run up to Christmas, The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery brings you a curated collection of painting, textiles, jewellery, hand poured candles and studio ceramics to inspire you in the season of giving. Rich colours, luxurious textures and nature inspired patterns are the hallmark of this festive exhibition, on show at The Sanctuary's elegant gallery space in the village of Newnham on Severn.
The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery at Christmas
Expect a little Christmas sparkle with your shopping experience thanks to the gallery's free gift wrapping service, and free festive drinks and nibbles every Saturday throughout the exhibition. The gallery will also be open for late night shopping, with mulled wine and mince pies, on Thursday 28th November until 8pm.

Artists from the Gloucestershire Guild, as well as national and international artists, are on show in this jewel box of an exhibition. Works include handstitched collage and vintage postcard art by ‘nostalgic sewing' artist Olivia Racionzer; pretty lino cut prints by Rosanna Morris; embroidered textile art by Sara Joy Rickard; contemporary felt and fibre art by Valerie Wartelle; handwoven textiles by Angie Parker and Forest of Dean based artist Rhian Wyman; silver jewellery by artist Uschi Arens Price; ceramics by Sussex based maker Yvette Glaze, and paintings by landscape artists Jessica Dunn, Karen Fitzpatrick, Mary Burtenshaw, Kate Flood, Kirsten Elswood and Sharon Harvey.

Established in 2022 by artist Sharon Harvey, The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery exhibits the best in contemporary painting and craft in an intimate and historical setting at the heart of the village of Newnham-on-Severn.
