A painting of a rocky beachDescription automatically generatedHelen Brabbs Born in Yorkshire, Helen's early days were spent in her home city of Kingston upon Hull. Art has always been a feature of her life, from formal study, to drawing and painting classes, to establishing her own studio in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. Water based painting is her favourite medium, working in both watercolour and acrylic.

She particularly enjoys landscape painting and loves the outdoors. Helen is inspired by the light, colours and textures of diverse landscapes - from hills and mountains to dramatic seascapes and skies to buildings within the landscape and colourful gardens.

As a frequent traveller she has found inspiration in lands near and far, as well as more locally in the Cotswolds. A wide range of patrons have commissioned works over the years, from as far away as Australia, New Zealand and the US.

Helen works from her studio and in addition to specific commissions has exhibited at various venues including The Belfry Golf Club, Baunton Manor, Ampney Park, Art House Open Studios, the Jersey Galleries at Osterley Park, a pop up show in Tetbury and with the Fosseway Artists.www.helenbrabbsart.com
