With two DC charge points and 54 AC chargers on offer, it's the perfect place for garden centre visitors to recharge while they enjoy the facilities and offers the convenience of rapid 50kW charging for those who want a quick top-up just off the M62."

Experts will be on hand to give advice from 11 am and the EV rally will start to arrive from 1 pm.

4.      About the EV Rally

The AtoZ EV Rally is a 5 day, 1400-mile moving showcase of all things Electric Vehicles (EV). The event demonstrates vehicle capability, featuring cars, vans and all-electric HGV, charging infrastructure and clean energy projects. Participating teams complete daily routes, stopping at official CheckPoints along the way, such as EV charging hubs, and broadcast their progress across social media. Vehicles are fitted with innovative telematics technology, measuring ‘energy consumption', and at the end of the Rally we will announce a winner, based on the best Miles/kWh readings.
