Independent Bedford Funeral Director wins Valuable Diamond Anniversary Prize Draw

Malcolm Jones of Molyneux Jones Funeral Directors in Bedford was the delighted winner of the SEIB Insurance Brokers LTD Diamond Anniversary Funeral Prize Draw. This valuable prize draw has resulted in Molyneux Jones receiving a £1,500 voucher for Clarke and Strong funeral supplies.

SEIB Insurance Brokers LTD (SEIB) are renowned for ‘putting something back' into the markets within which they operate, and what better way to do this than run a valuable prize draw for their funeral clients throughout their 60th year in business. The SEIB Diamond Anniversary Funeral Prize Draw began earlier this year before the draw for £1,500 (+VAT) to spend at Clarke and Strong took place in December.

A delighted Malcolm Jones said: "This is great news for Molyneux Jones, we are an independent business and our customers are our focus. This prize will help make a difference. The products from Clarke and Strong are of great quality with top service and delivery times and we have always used them from when the business started twelve years ago."

"It is wonderful that SEIB have run this prize draw. When our business began, I had bits and pieces of insurance but then switched to SEIB ten years ago. SEIB understand our needs and this makes it far easier and above all the pricing is fair, I am very happy with the service they provide."

SEIB's Chief Executive Officer Suzy Middleton said: "Celebrating turning 60 is a major milestone for SEIB and giving back has always been a key theme for the SEIB business. We are delighted to have partnered with Clarke and Strong for this celebratory prize draw for £1,500 of their renowned funeral products."

SEIB was started in 1963 as a brokerage for home, car and life insurance. Later that decade, company founder, Barry Fehler, moved into the equestrian insurance market. A few years later in the 1970's Barry purchased a small broker located in the west end of London which happened to contain the National Association of Funeral Directors' (NAFD) insurance policy.

After working hard to develop and enhance NAFD's insurance offering, creating the first-ever funeral package and introducing Professional Indemnity cover, Barry and the SEIB team expanded on their own offering, creating bespoke insurance policies for funeral fleets and business premises.

This commitment to Funeral Directors is highlighted by several national titles for SEIB over the years at esteemed industry awards including Broker of the Year, the National Insurance Awards and the British Claims Awards. Most recently SEIB were awarded the Marketing and Customer Engagement Award at the UK Broker Awards 2022.

SEIB, with the support of the National Association of Funeral Directors launched the SEIB and NAFD Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 and this award will run for the fourth time in 2024.

SEIB's ethos of constant support and providing opportunity is well set to continue. Since 2018, good causes have benefited to the tune of £300,000 through SEIB's annual SEIB Giving Awards.
