Pickering Farm Shop Café reaches the final of a regional tourism award
The team at a Pickering farm shop café is celebrating after it was shortlisted for a Yorkshire tourism award.
Cedarbarn Farm Shop Café has reached the final of the Taste award in theYorkshire PostTourism Awards.
Café manager, Louise Coverdale is delighted with the news:"We pride ourselves on giving our guests a great experience and memorable food, most of which we grow, rear, make and bake ourselves. It's very rewarding that the judges share our values and have awarded us a place in the final of this prestigious award."
Cedarbarn faces competition from Grantley Hall, Homestead Kitchen, Legacy at The Grand, York and Quayside. The team will learn whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony at New Dock, Leeds on 4thDecember. The judges include Wayne Topley, MD of the Cedar Court Hotels Group and Chef Consultant, Steph Moon.
Cedarbarn Farm Shop café seats 80 people and serves a wide range of home-cooked hearty Yorkshire meals, including gluten-free and plant-based options.
