Driffield poultry business shortlisted for local business award
The team at an East Yorkshire poultry business is celebrating after reaching the final of a local business award.
Middleton on the Wolds business, Soanes Poultry has been shortlisted in the Business of the Year category of the 23rdannualHull LiveBusiness Awards.
Soanes Poultry's MD, Ben Lee is delighted with the news: "Many of our team live in Hull, and we're proud to support initiatives in the city including EMS's food poverty work and Ganton School's Chop and Change programme, so it's great to reach the final of this prestigious award."
Soanes Poultry faces competition from feed fat producer, Adams and Green and holiday home manufacturer, Willerby.The teamwill learn whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony atDoubleTree by Hilton Hull on 16th November 2023.
Soanes Poultry was founded by Tom Soanes and has been rearing and preparing chicken since 1947. It sells its Yorkshire-reared chicken to butchers and independent retailers throughout Yorkshire and to wholesalers and catering butchers nationwide.
