Is this the first ever Proposal to take place

in a car park?

Love is certainly in the air this summer at Q-Park First Street in Manchester!

Q-Park have operated the First Street parking facility since it was newly built back in 2015 and it has proven a popular car park for both business and pleasure visitors to this part of Manchester City Centre. It is a large 10 floor multi-storey facility which has meant it has gained a large amount of popularity for alternative uses due to the striking panoramic views from the very top open-air level. This level of the parking facility has been hired for multiple fashion photoshoots, filming of TV programmes and films, and even large-scale customer events, such as the JD Sport North Face event in 2017.

A friend of the now newly engaged couple contacted Q-Park for permission for this unique but huge life event. The area around Q-Park First Street was already a special place for the couple. Their first date was to Bunny Jackson's, an American restaurant based on the First Street Estate itself, followed by a concert at the nearby O2 Ritz. Q-Park were naturally delighted to be able to assist on this romantic occasion and the Proposal went ahead in front of the night time backdrop of the Manchester skyline. The good news is that the answer was ‘Yes'!

Everyone at Q-Park would like to pass on their congratulations to this couple and wish the very best for their upcoming wedding.
