FEM introduces the new FreshPro CamSquares from Cambro

An organised food storage system in the commercial kitchen improves workflow, saves time, and reduces waste. It also looks good and improves staff morale: a neat kitchen makes for a happy workplace. FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has introduced Cambro’s new FreshPro CamSquares storage containers, designed to transform kitchen storage, improve handling and prolong the stored product's shelf-life.

Made from Cambro Camwear, a durable polycarbonate material, the FreshPro Camsquares are available in seven sizes from 1.9 to 20.8 litres. All have moulded-in recessed handles so the containers take up less space than traditional storage options. For example, the smallest 1.9 litre container measures just 191 x 191 x 98mm. They are stackable to save space when not in use.

Designed for ease of use, the moulded-in handles offer ergonomic lifting and have a drain hole for quick and sanitary drying. The FreshPro’s curved corners and textured grip enable safer, four-corner pouring and easier handling.

Tight-fitting, easy-seal covers are available for all sizes to protect contents from cross-contamination and extend the shelf-life of ingredients. They are available in green, red and blue to allow for colour coding, while the clearly marked measurement lines on the containers offer an at-a-glance inventory. Optional drain shelves for the bottom of the containers help boost ingredients’ freshness by lifting items out of their juices.

Also in the range are the reusable and sustainable 0.47 and 0.9 litre Polypropylene FreshPro CamSquares. These are reusable replacements for single-use containers and are ideal for fresh herbs, spices, condiments and butter. Their easy-seal translucent cover fits both sizes to prevent spills and stays firmly in place. The compact size of these containers offers one-handed carrying in the kitchen.

The containers stand up to high-volume wear and tear and withstand temperatures from -40°C to 99°C. They are stain, acid and odour resistant and are dishwasher safe.  All FreshPro CamSquare products are covered by a one year warranty.

List prices start at £5.20 for the 1.9 litre Camwear FreshPro storage container and £1.30 for the 0.47 litre polypropylene container.
