She owes her entire business success to King Charles who, via The
Prince’s Trust, loaned her the money to launch her show-stopping millinery. The
King has also been a major influence in Katherine Elizabeth’s fine attention to
ethical fabrics and sourcing, which now sets her label apart.
In the run
up to the Coronation or during the big day, Katherine Elizabeth is available to
talk about headwear styles and trends she expects to see on the VIPs. With
major nods to the iconic hats of Queen Elizabeth II, pearls, spring blooms and
clashing colours – even black, all being on-trend, she will be a perfect commentator.
She has a boutique in the Oxo Tower where she can hold interviews, give hat making demonstrations and show you the latest must-have designs.
Katherine Elizabeth also runs a leading Millinery Academy having trained hundreds of hobbyists through to those set to be the next generation of award winning Milliners. She can assist you to make your own hat to wear on Coronation Day, as she has done on live TV before alongside Stylist and ITV presenter, Mark Heyes.
She appeared on the BBC making a hat live on air during Royal Ascot a few years ago and says the Coronation is inspiring lots of Millinery Academy members to make their own designs to mark this special occasion.
