Mixing up a frozen treat

FEM introduces the Hamilton Beach Commercial MixStation Drinks Mixer

Frozen drinks are popular with young and old alike and offer an opportunity to make signature flavours to entice the customers back for more. For fast and efficient mixing of hard- and soft-serve ice cream and tough mix-ins such as candy, cookies, fruit and nuts, FEM has introduced the Hamilton Beach Commercial HMD1000 MixStation Drink Mixer. The MixStationuses a powerful, heavy-duty motor making it easy to achieve tasty, perfectly mixed and consistent frozen treats in professional and foodservice applications.

The HMD1000 has six pre-programmed cycles and a variable speed dial for maximum control, consistent results and customisable mixing. Custom cycles can be uploaded via USB. It’s easy to clean with smooth, rounded corners and sealed touch controls with no crevices for food debris to get stuck. A magnetic splash shield contains messy splatter while mixing. The side magnet fastening makes for tool-free removal and fast, easy cleaning. The drip tray also removes for cleaning.

For safety a slow start prevents the cup from being spun out of the operator’s hand at beginning of the mix cycle and a 21.5cm width clearance in the working space means it’s easy to manoeuvre the cup without spilling. It measures 66.7 cm high by 32 cm depth and 27.9cm wide.  Supplied with a 925 agitator for universal mixing, the HMD1000 has a 3/4hp motor and one year warranty.

The list price is £1,990.00.
