Chris Chapman, associate director at WRS said: "We know that things are really tough for charities at the moment, rising operational costs coupled with a squeeze on donations are having a massive impact. Through this survey we are looking to see if there is anything we as a company can do to highlight the problems facing charities or even ease this pressure in any way."

The nationwide WRS survey seeks to find out how increases in operational costs such as staffing and utility expenses are affecting charities. The survey goes on to find out whether there is now increased demand for charities' services and how donations are currently being affected. The team at WRS are keen to highlight and publicise any relevant findings. The survey opens on the 24th January for charities to respond and will close on the 17th February.

Chris Chapman added: "At WRS, our customers are our absolute priority, we are an ethically focused operation and want to understand the issues affecting them. If by carrying out this research it means we can tailor our insurance offerings to make a positive difference to good causes it will be time very well spent. As a business, we have supported churches, faith groups and charities with advice on risk management and insurance solutions for over 40 years. The WRS team are dedicated to delivering high service standards and empathy with our clients."
